Access PaySuite, a division of The Access Group, confirmed the acquisition of Pay360 Limited on 1st December 2022.
This follows the earlier sale of ESS (Education Software Solutions, whose most well known software is the school MIS platform SIMS) to ParentPay in the summer of 2021.
The payment platform Pay360 continued to service the education sector until recently, but according to some school sources (particularly primaries) the service is now no longer available.
Although The Access Group provides an alternative payment and parent engagement platform called ‘My School Portal’, the lack of communication about the dissolving of Pay360, along with new pricing, has left a bitter taste in the mouths of many customers.
